6. Low fever and low corrosiveness
The pH value of the slurry filtrate of the magnesium oxysulfide panel fluctuates between 8 and 9.5, which is close to neutral, and it is very corrosive to glass fiber and wood fiber. Everyone knows that GRC products are reinforced with glass fiber, and plant-fiber products are reinforced with sawdust, wood shavings, cotton stalks, bagasse, peanut hulls, rice husks, corn heart powder and other wood fiber scraps, while glass fibers and wood fibers are not alkali resistant. Materials are extremely afraid of alkali corrosion. They will lose strength under high alkali corrosion and lose their strengthening effect on cementitious materials. Therefore, conventional cement cannot be reinforced with glass fiber and wood fiber due to high alkali. On the other hand, magnesium cement has its unique slightly alkaline advantages and has shown its skills in the field of GRC and plant fiber products.
7, light weight and low density
The density of magnesium oxysulfide panel is generally only 70% of that of ordinary Portland cement products. Its product density is generally 1600~1800㎏/m³, while the density of cement products is generally 2400~2500㎏/m³. Therefore, it has a very obvious low density.
